SCHOOL NEWS
On Monday, March 7, all students at R. G. H. S. saw the driver safety demonstration. A movie on •safe driving, was shown, after which Mr. Taylor, safety engineer, showed proper methods of turning, j backing, etc. - _ Then, Jackie Sisk, Shirley Williams, Nick Cascio and State Trooper Buntin tried their braking reactions at various speeds. Students were surprised to learn when results were posted that Mr. Cascio has been driving since he was 9 years old. TJie chart said he had been driving 7 years and listed his age as IS. 16-9 equals 7. The seniors are trying out for parts in “A-Feudin’ Over Yonder”, which will be presented about the middle of April. Be sure and come. We’ll keep all the shot guns loaded with blanks to protect innocent by-standers.
Candidates for the bsseball team are loosening up their throwing arms, oiling their gloves and getting ready for a full season. _
