Clarence A. Fincham
Dies At Home Here
Clarence , Fincham, 59, died suddenly Wednesday evening in the home of his sister and nephew, Mrs. Gilbert Wharton and Gibson Wharton, with whom he was living. Mr. Fincham had been in failing health for several months.
Mr. Fincham was a native of Rappahannock County, son of the late Booten Benjamin Fincham and his wife, the late Susan Sisk Fincham of Rappahannock. He was a member of the United B re them Church, Smedley. Graveside services were conducted by Rev. G. M. Profitt, pastor of tire Washington and Flint Hill Baptist Churches, at the Sperryville Cemetery, Friday afternoon at»2 o’clock.
Active pallbearers were C. J. Miller, Charles Bruce, Joe De* Jamett Keyser, T. C. Lea, C. E. Giles, and D. D. Miller. The floral tributes were carried by friends of the deceased. 1;
Mr. Fincham is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Gilbert Wharton and Mrs. Lilly Clatterbuck, .a brother, Ira Fincham, all of Rappahannock, and also several neices and nephews. 1 j|j;
