ENLIST IN NAVY
Recent enlistments in the U. S. Navy through the local station as announced by Chief J. H. Carwile are: Earl Thomas Foster, Washington; James Winfrey Robinson, Rt 2, Box 21, Culpeper; Elmer Davis Lamb, 22, and William Adolph Brill, 19, both of Stanardsville; Frederick Gilmore Poles, 23, Hume; Robert Lee Dyer, 18, of Criglersville and Charles Franklin Yowell, 17, Aylor.
These men are now stationed at the U. S. Naval Training Station, Bainbridge, Maryland undergoing 9 weeks of training. They will be given 14 days leave after completion of their training period.
