The ' Co-sponsors of this inaugural Garden and Flower Show, are the Richmond Nurserymen’s Association and the Pied- • mont District,. Virginia Federation of Garden Club. Their idea for a garden show to rival the Successful productions held in Washington and New York evolved from a dream to a reality when Richmond’s new Arena, with its 65,000 square feet of floor space, became available. , i “This is the first time we’ve ever had the proper facilities here iq Richmond to do what we’re always wanted to do,” Kenneth R. Carrying out the all-purpose theme, exhibits will be limited to equipment and facilities that have a distinct relationship to gardening. Everything in the Garden and Flower Show, as DaviH L. Raine, Show Manager put it, is designed to awaken in people the idea df what can be done in j Virginia with nature’s things. !
