Recettlt, a study was made to determine the prewsnt. state of health and well-being of 78 diabetics who had been placed on a diet and Insulin twenty years before. Previous 'to Dr. Banting’s discovery of Insulin in 1922, their chancaj of survival for more than two or three years would have been slight. , j It was found that 77 of the 78, or 96 percent, were alive and living active, useful lives.
