Mr. and Mrs. James Settle were hosts to members of their families last week, including Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Settle of Orlando, Florida, Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Settle of Parkersburg, W. Va., Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Settle, Jr., of Powhatan. Sunday guests of the Settles were Mr. and Mrs. Warren Frank of Luray and their daughter, Major Leta Mildred Frank, U.S. Army, of Washington D. C., Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Settle, Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Settle and Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr., and Mrs. Frank also visited Mrs. George Settle and Miss Kate Walker at Locust Grove during the week.
Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Cook had as their guests Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Walker and son, Doug of Arlington, Sunday and Monday.
