Surviving Mrs. Atkins are her 3 children, Mrs. Lavinia Pickens of Arlington; Mrs. Dorothy Barber of Cleveland, Ohio, and Allie Atkins of Solon, Ohio. Also by 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Active pallbearers at the service were E. B. Cary, Vs R. Updike, Paul Walker, Willie Payne and Mahlon Ramey.
Those from a distance that came to the funeral were Mrs. Atkins’ children and their families; Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Fogarty, Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Baker of Arlington; Mr. and Mrs. Ennis Pullen and 2 daughters and Mr. and Mrs. Otis Atkins and others of Luray.
Mrs. Atkins was a loyal member of the Washington Baptist Church. v The family would like to express their appreciation for the cards, flowers and other expressions of sympathy during their bereavement.
