60 ATTEND FELLOWSHIP SUPPER IN FLINT HILL
The Young Women’s Bible class served a fellowship supper at the Methodist Church, Friday night. About 60 people, adult members of the church school came and ate old country ham, candied sweet potatoes, green beans, hot rolls, sliced tomatoes, potato salad, ice cream and cake, iced tea and hot coffee. The proceeds from the supper were given to H. S. Barksdale, church treasurer, to be applied to the building fund. Mrs. Manuel Pullen is president of the class and Mrs. Robert Clatterbuck is the treasurer. -^MRS. CRANE—Froa* Pag* » Theodore Schaefer, choir director and organist in the National Presbyterian Church. She sang regularly in this choir and for a number of civic organizations and clubs in Washington. Jo Ellen has always been, and continues to be most gracious and generous in contributing her talent to the enrichment of any program, be it for civic organizations, dubs or church serviices. Wayne Hamilton Garber, who shares the vocal section of the program with Jo Ellen, is a native of Rockingham County and was graduated from Harrisonburg High School in 1950. In that year he entered Madison College and started his voice study also with Edyth Schneider. He was graduated from Madison in 1954, receiving an A.B. degree in Biology and Chemistry. He then accepted the position of Sanitarian in Culpeper. He, too, has been most generous with his fine voice to the delight of the members of the Culpeper churches and civic organizations.
