stood by all that there is no means test to be used in distributing the vaccine. The Committee unanimously adopted motions that patients seen in private practice who are unable (o pay, will receive the vaccine free of charge. Those seen in private practice who are able to pay, will not pay for the vaccine but will pay for administration. The private physician agrees to submit data necessary to make reports to the Public Health Service and to limit vaccine administration to the priority group designated at the time (at present, 5-9 years). The Committee advised that provision be made for Public Health Clinics for those unable to pay who would not be reached by the private physicians and that compensation be made to those physicians who would volunteer to work in these clinics.
