Cireaver said the Rosson car was the fourth lined up behind the school bus, which had stopped to pick up passengers. The tractortrailer did not stop. Greaver said, but ran on top of the Rosson cm, pinning the occupants inside.
Driver "of the truck, .Nelson F. Lundy, 28, of Galax, was charged with manslaughter. The truck was owned by Blue Ridge Transfer Co.. Inc., of Galax.
Anna Thorp. 83, of Catlett, a passenger in the second car stopped behind the school bus. suffered possible spine injuries and was taken to University Hospital.
