Attend Meeting
Monday Night
Twenty-one members attended the Tuesday night meeting of the Washington Firemen to discuss plarts for this year’s work, including a home carnival.
Charlie Jenkins, newly elected chief, conducted the meeting. Discussion was brought up on sponsoring a carnival this summer.A oommittee was appointed to contact the Ladies Auxiliary to see if they would like to have a joint home carnival.
The sponsoring of a Little League Baseball Team was also •under discussion. This idea, forwarded by Judge Rayner V. Snead, was presented at the meeting by Mahlon Ramey. It was met•with enthusiasm, but after organization plans, including individual players, were talked over, the project was postponed.
