parties tour years ago, for obvious reasons, and the Republicans feel they must do something about it lest the Democrats taunt them. For two-thirds of our nation this n^t a problem, because -thebj bulk of the colored folk are in the South. We have been j wrestling with this situation for 99 years and, if let alone! will find the best solution.
I believe very strongly in states’ rights. The original purpose of the federated states was not to supervise in detail the conduct of each state, but rather for mutual protection in case of attack from a foreign government. Today the Federal Government has become a veritable octopus with strong tentaclees trying to pull everything to one center and control the whole. Today our government virtually controls every phase of our life except the religious. It is time to break this strangle hold. I
