Tax money should not be used for any private schools. But it is unjust tp distinguish between sectarian and nonsectarian private schools. There are in Virginia today 30 private schools run by the Episcopal, Catholic, Methodist, and Baptist Churches, besides parochial schools operated by Episcopal and Catholic parishes. These are established schools with fine buildings, able teachers and state accreditation. If public funds are sent to non-sectarian private schools which are newly formed, with inadequate buildings, unqualified teachers and no accreditation, then in fairness public ffinds should go to the students at the better qualified sectarian schools. Any other result would be inequitable both to the* better schools and their, students. Point 6. Haste. j j
