With prospects of supply increasing from now into winter, egg prices have probably passed the peak, especially the A large eggs. Mediums may pick up a little more before they turn- downward.
In New York last week, nearby A large were 4-5c lower at 5154c; midwest’eggs 2-3c lower. In Virginia. Grade A large were 56c; mediums.*34c; Roanoke, Grade A large, 51c, mediums, 35c.
