Word was received here Saturday of the death in Richmond, Va. of Mr. Claude Evans, brother-inlaw of W. C. Campbell. He was buried at Blacksburg, Va. on Monday October 1st. Mr and Mrs. Campbell attended the funeral.
Miss Ruth Stevens and Mrs. A. M. Verner visited Robert L. Brown* on Wednesday evening in Culpeper, at the home of his brother, Julian Brown, where he is recovering from pneumonia.
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Jenkins of Leesburg, Va., spent the week end visiting in the county, dividing their time between Mrs. A. M. Verner and Mr. and Mrs. George Jenkins, returning to Leesburg Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Jenkins of Summit Point, W. Va.
