this was the largest delegation of any highschool in the state. These seven persons were as follows: H. A. Collins, Vo-Ag Instructor; Arthur Jones, National Officer and , Virginia State President of N.F.A. Clifton Hill, Jr. Superior Farmer winner and recipient of-checks to»taling $360.00 and William Carter, Robert Turner, Deforest Frye, and Arthur Ferguson representing Virginia in the National Livestock 'judging contest. William Carter compiled the tenth highest score amoung 48 boys from 16 states in the livestock judging contest and received.* check for $26.00.
It is only through the eagerness of the boys to learn, and through the cooperation of the parents, school administrators, school faculty, and state Agricultural Supervisors that e are able to maintain a live and going Agricultural Department. We continue to solicit your support.
