There is an old laying that a doctor who treats himself has a fool
a patient. How ihuch truer is this when a man or woman is not a doctor. Too many people diagnose their own ailments and prescribe for themselves—or let well-meaning friends do so. Such self-doc to ring can be mighty dangerous. Infections that could be stopped quickly under the doctor’s care often get out of control_requiring lengthy treatment and loss of pay, that would have been unnecessary.
