been characterized by soul searching thought, and by a scholarship of high degree. He has been a most successful leader with young people. Our church has been improved and beautified to a remarkable degree. Grounds have been cleaned, flowers and shrubbery have been planted. New memorial windows and window medallions have been added. The basement has been renovated and improved for use as Sutiday School class rooms.
We also pay tribute to Mrs. Thompson, who was a faithful worker in the church, Sunday School and in young peoples missionary groups,
Therefore, * Be it resolved:
First, that we the members of Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church accept Rev. Thompson’s resignation with deep regret, and wish to express our appreciation for Rev. and Mrs. Thompson’s services in our church, community and county.
Second, that we shall pray for their success in their new field of service, and that God will continue to guide and use them for His glory
Third, that a copy of these resolutions be sent to the Rev.
