FOUR COUNTY FAIR
The Eight Annual Four-County Fair will be held at the -George Washington Carver Regional High School on Friday and Saturday, October 5-6. The Agricultural Advisory Council, NFA boys,. NHA girls, and young and adult fanners have been working hard in making preparation for what promises to be one of our most successful Fairs
The two day program calls for the following: Friday, October 5Judging of all field and vegetable crops and household exhibits. Elementary school’s exhibits will also be judged on Friday. The activities will end with a football game between the Carver Hawks and the W. C. Taylor Eagles of Warrenton. These tow schools have been rivals foryears but never met before on the gridiron promises many thrills in their fight to the goal line. The colorful Carver Band under the Directorship of Mr. Coles, will also perform. On Saturday, October 6-all poultry and livestock exhibits will be judged and all prizes will be awarded. It is through the liberal Support of our merchants and individual contributors throughout the four count' ies that we are able for the second successive year to give cash prizes for first and second place winners. * At 2:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon special attraction will be offered in baseball game between the Culpeper Dragons and the Orange Nats. These two teams, Culpeper and James Washington respectiveand Orange managed by Charlie ly, always provide dazzling entertainment when they meet. The val of music and games in the Fair will be climaxed with a festival of music and games in the Carver High Gynfnasium on Saturday nigbt
