What a weekend, but the children love it, (so does Sarah), so I guess it’s O.K.
Had planned the supper club Saturday night.first Bert Spalding called then Eva Smith, they couldn’t come. Joe artd Claire Pause’ were sick, but Harry Lee and Virginia Smith were really coming.
“Yes indeed”, said Virginia, “we have chains on.” That was until about 5 :30 Saturday evening when she' called to say they couldn’t make it. Well Arthur and I enjoyed .Our company dinner on TV trays in front of the fire place watching TV, but we did miss our guests.
Saw Gordon Fishhback in Gills at Warrenton this morning. We were talking about what a nice, time we had at Oliver and Emily Dh rant's. Gordon said the best dancer he danced with was Miss Gertie Durant and she is sure that ‘Rock and Roll’ is here to stay. Isn’t she wonderful-!!
