This temporary committee plans to solicit no money at present. Probably another county-wide meeting of Rappahannock citizens will be called in March. Possibly the committee will visit the Strasburg and New Market plants. It has been suggested that representatives of these plants and possibly a representative of the parent plant be invited to come to Rappahannock. A lot more “getting acquainted’* seems in order. Some how workers from the Strasburg plant had heard of the interest in Rappahannock. Several were at the meeting at Flint Hill. They had not been invited, but came on their own because of their interest They reported of training the industry gives prospective enii poyees, starting salaries, pay advances, fringe benefits, etc.
