Due t(| the snow we have had, it has been impossible for the rural' and star mail carriers to get to the mailboxes of their patrons. The law of the U. S. Post Office says .All snow or a«y other obstruction must be cleared from the front of rural mail boxes or the patron has the privilege of moving his box to make the delivery more convenient to the carrier to deliver mail from his car.
As of Tuesday, no snow had been cleared in front of any of the boxes on the Washington rural routes and only three on the. star route which were Emerson Smith, Clarence Wharton and Edward Jordan.
