Following Dr. Sumner’s address, women of other countries, attired in native costumes, made short speeches. They were Mrs. T. Nath who spoke on the home life in India; Mrs. S. M. Pinn of Indonesia; Mrs. Ray Sumiya from JaPan and Mrs. U. Jyin of Burma.
In the afternoon Mrs. J. C. Bennett from District VIII conducted a workshop pertaining to the subject of the meeting, after which a tour was made of Mary Washington College and historic Fredericksburg. Mrs. L. J. Williamson conducted the party'.
Others from Rappahannock attending the meeting were Mrs. Frank Cary, Mrs. Willie Gentry and Mrs. G. C. Poston.
Wins Door Prize
Miss Betty Jean Settle attended an Oyster feast in Maryland Friday evening. Much to her surprise she was given the door prize which was 100 silver dollars.
