The clinic (for which high school pupils are not eligible) is for dentally indigent children only, that is. only those pupils wo can not pay the prevailing dental rates. It will be up to the principal and - teachers of each school to select these children.
The dentist in charge has had the same training, and has passed the same examination required by State law. as the dentists with private practices, He will work from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in a vacant room in each elementary school center, and he will have up-to-date portable equipment. He will do fillings, extractions, cleaning and flouridc.no orthodonics. Each chihl will be examined, and an es■ timate will be sent to the parents, before any work is done. The principal of the school in which the dentist is working vvll cooperate at all times with him and will also be in a position to know how well the clinic is being operated.
