races.—.are not run for money prizes,.but a trophy, they come into the same classification as horse shows. And horse shows are scheduled on Sundays throughout Virginia during the Spring and Summer season.*
“It is hoped that no one who understands the sporting nature of of our Point-to-Point can take umbrage at the date we have had to choose. It is our sincere endeavor to benefit and add to the enjoyment of the community, and in no way to offend it,” said James W. Fletcher, Joint Master of the Rappahannock Hunt.
Tickets and reserved parking passes, already distributed, will be honoied on April 3. Food will be served on the grounds.
