Mrs. Ruth Bradford Rev. Edward Lester conducted services TuyrSay, March 15 from the Hint Hill Methodist Church for Mrs. Ruth Presgraves Bradford, 68, of Flint Hill. Mrs. Bradford was fatally injured the previous Saturday in a head on collision several miles east of The Plains along Broad Run. She was returning from George Washington University Hospital when the accident occurred about 4 p.m. Taken to the Fauquier Hospital, she died a short time later.
She was born on January 7, 1862 in Page County, the daughter of Robert Lee and Sally Corbin Presgraves. Besides her husband, Charles E. Bradford, she leaves four sons: Janies W. in Buffalo, Robert T. in Portsmouth, Harvey L. in Hagerstown and Corp. Cecil E. .Bradford in Norfolk, and four grandchildren. She was the sister of O. S. Presgraves and Emmett J. Presgraves in Boyce, Charles W. Presgraves, Bii.wntown, John H. Presgraves m Radford, Mrs. Sally Shipp in Winchester, Mrs. Bertha Seal in Browntown and Mrs. Mae Dovel in Lurav.
