Captain Carroll Menefee, who has completed a three-year assignment ot duty with the U. S. Air Force ;n Anchorage, Alaska, has returned to the States and with Mrs. Menefee and their children Larrv, Susanne and Mary Frances have arrived at the home of his mother Mrs. Carroll Menefee in Sperryville. Captain Menefee and his family flew to Seattle, Washington and made the remainder of the trip here by motor. They arrived Wednesday.
Pfc. Donald Kenneth Deal, son of Mrs. Hattie Deal of Boston and the late William Oscar Deal, has returned to his home after serving two years with the 3rd Armored Division in brankfurt, Gerpiany. He took his basic training at Fort Hood, Texas before going overseas.
Deal, who was a carpenter, before entering service, plans to resume his work. He is a graduate of Culpeper County High School.
