V. Chapman. Weekend guests of Miss Mamie Johnson were Mr. and Mrs. Edward Clatterbuck of Alexandria and -Mrs. Betsy Harrell. Sunday guests of Miss Johnson were Mr and Mrs. John M. l’artlow and family of Alexandria. Mr. and "Mrs. Walter Henson of Front Royal were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Johnson.
Mrs. May Goodman, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Goodman and James Rector of Richmond were called here Friday by the sudden illness of W. N. Rector who suffered a heart attack. Mrs. Goodman is remaining this week with her sister Mrs. Pcrle Coffey to help care for Mr. Rector. James Rector was an overnight guest of his parents Mr. and Mrs. Ray Rector in Marshall.
Mrs. H. 11. Ay lor suffered a broken knee cap in a fall at her home. She was treated at Winchester Hospital and is now confined to her home. Mrs. Myrtle Jenkins
