Mr. Hollingsworth received his BA degree from Roanoke College He did graduate work at William and Mary College and received his MA degree from the University of Virginia.
The faculty of Norview Junior High School honored Mr. Hollingsworth with a dinner at the Shore Drive Inn on May 25. They presented him an engraved silver tray and pitcher.
Since retiring he plans to spend his time traveling, fishing and gardening.
