Mrs. H. J. Racer and Mrs. Reiid Biedler of Warrenton spent last Wednesday and Thursday as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. William Curtis in Clinton, Md. While there Mrs. Biedler attended The Ice Capades. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Burke were Mr. and Mrs. Trentoni Burke and sons Dickie and Dave of Culpeper. In the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Judd Burke of Flint iHill were visitors of the Burkes. Monday, Dr. and Mrs. William Parrish and children Betsy and Billy of Fairfax were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Burke and visited other friends in the county.
Spc. 4 Edward C. Anderson of Fort Eustis is spending a week’s leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carson Anderson.
Tuesday shoppers in Winchester were Mrs. Virginia Estes, Mrs. Lester Burke and Mrs. Carson Anderson.
Mrs. Ada Mellott of Alexandria was an over night guest Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Armel and with the Armels attended the fvneral Monday of George Sloat in Front Royal. Thursday Mrs. Armel and Charles were visitors of Dave Alther who is a patient in Smith’s Nursing Home in Charlottesville.
