George Washington’s
Birthday Dinner Cancelled
The George Washington’s Birthday Dinner, sponsored by the Washington Methodist Church is cancelled due to the weather and sickness in the church. Those'persons who have bought tickets will be refunded. Watch for nottice in the paper for a spring-time dinner.
Garden Club To Meet
The regular February meeting of the Rappahannock Garden Club will be held at the home of Mrs. W. C. (H'all on Wednesday, February 15 th at 2 p.m.
Mrs. W. R. Williamson, chairman, will give a talk on “Growing Perennials From Seed.” Members are asked to bring seed catalogs.
Parent-Teacher Conference

Saturday, February 11 is the date set for Parent-Teacher Conference Day for all school in Rappahannock County. Teachers will be in their cla& rooms from 9 am until 3 pm, weather permitting. Parents are urged to visit the instructors and discuss any problems or ask any questions concerning their children.

Banquet February 24th
Amissville Ladies Auxiliary to the Fire Company has set Friday, February 24th as the date for the Eighth Annual Baaqtiet for the members of the volunteer fire department, junior firemen and guests, which include visitors from surrounding fire companies and auviliafies, county fire warden, district supervisor, etc.
The dinner will be served at 7 pm at the fire hall.
