Miss Lucy Mason
Miss Lucy Stephenson Mason, 80, a descendant of George Mason of Gunston Hall, one of American Founding fathres, died in Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, D. C. Saturday, February 4, after a long illness.
She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bell Mason of Woodville where Miss Mason spent most of her girlhood before moving to Washington, D. C. She was employed many years by the Veterans Anninistration, retiring in 1948. - ■. ,
Surviving arp one nephew and three nieces. Cousins of Miss Mason are Miss Annie Shephenson, and Harry Stephenson of Woodville and William Yancey of Culpeper. ' Y 'V'
Interment will be in Woodville Episcopal Cemetery, but due to the weather time is undetermined.
