Discarded Glasses
With Easter jgone and April well on its way, we recall to your minds the item some weeks ago regarding Spring Cleaning.
At that time we suggested that in preparation fpr the chore, and to make it somewhat easier, you gather up all hits,' and pieces of old discarded eyeglasses you might have, or find, anjl turn them over to the first member of the Rappahannock Lions Club you should meet, or to Mrs] Frances Thornton, our Public ijlealth nurse.
From reports received, it appears that somej folk took us at our word, for Upwards of sixty pair have thus far been received and are being held waiting for more, prior to foijwarding to “Eyes For The Needy” by the Lions Club. ' 1
So now-that the time is really here, do it today. Get those old discarded, perhaps broken, eyeglasses to the Lipns Club NOW. It will be a help to others at no cost or great effort on your part.
