The main dining room at’Panorama Restaurant was the scene last Friday evening of a delightful banquet honoring Mr. and Mrs. Q. D. Gasque of Front Royal, Va. Mr. Gasque has resigned as Superintendent of Schools for Warren and Rappahannock Counties to accept a position with Madison College, Harrisonbug, Va. TTie dinner was given by the Rappahannock County Education Association, and was attended by the teachers and their guests.
Serving as Master of Ceremonies, Mr. Charles B. Palmer welcomed the guests and introduced a few of them, namely: Mr. and Mrs. Gasque, Dr. G. Tyler Miller of Madison College; Mr. Conner, Mr. Hounshel and Mr. Guinn of Culpeper; Mr. James Eavey and Mrs. Leslie Fox Key-, ser of Front Royal; Hon. Tom Frost, Warren ton; Mrs. Galley: W. Smith, Flint Hill; and some of the members of the School1 Board, including Mr. and Mrs. Ned Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nichols, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Kil- \ by and Mr. Ralph Rowzie. \
Between courses the gentlemen from Culpeper and our Mr. Eavey sang several numbers which were much enjoyed by the group. Mrs. Galley W. Smith then gave two readings which were humorous and most appreciated.
