Remember our groundhog control demonstrations scheduled for April 27th: Dick Finks 9 a.m.; Ned Johnsons 10 a.m.; Dick Miller’s 11 a.m. Those to be held in the afternoon will be at Herbert Barksdale’s at 1:30; Dick Latham’s 2:30 and Henry Wood’s at 3:30. In case any demonstrations are rained out, they will be held same place and time next day.

Please don’t anyone get piggish and ask for blanket orchard inspections for the full spray season time simply doesn’t allow this. If you are in a tight spot with orchard insect and disease control problems, let me know.
Also mark May 26th on your calendar. Explanation meeting will be held at 8 p.m. at the court house to explain details of Marketing Agreement for orchardists of this area. Later a referendum will be held. In addition, George Williams will be present at this meeting to discuss timely development of orchard insects and diseases and control measures.
