Group Meets
The spring meeting of the Sue. Slaughter group of the Woman’s Missionary Union, Baptist Shiloh Association, was held at Mt. Lebanon Church Tuesday, April 11, with all the societies of group represented.
“The Vision Splendid” was the theme for the meeting. Mrs. Garreth Miller took as her subject for the special message to the group " “The Rich Rewards.” Mrs. Miller, who is the wife of a Baptist minister, and a Norwegian by birth, spoke feelingly of “The Rich; Rewards” of the Christian way of. life.
There was special music by the young people. Others taking part in the program were Mrs. J. B. Burke, leader of the group; Mrs. Rodes Brown, secretary and treasurer; Miss Russell Colvin, superintendent; Mrs. Clyde Courtney, Sunbeam director; Mrs. James Falls, G. A. director and Mrs. Cletus Clark, Y. VV. A. director.
Rev. Park Dickerson, pastor, conducted the devotional using Isiah 6:1-8 as the scripture.
