Now that spring is Here and the North Wind a little milder, the “Mail Box Conferences” are on the increase. Some time back they were held daily—now twice daily as the paper-men come by in the morning and in the afternoon also. Notice we said men. Until recently members of the “Mail Box Conference” were satisfied with one paper_jiot so now. They want to know as much as they can what all the Editors and all the Columnists have to say—They want to know both sides of the many questions that affect their newspapers to help them.
Clustered around the mail boxes are the paper tubes, and .do those grass roots fellows go for their papers!
They prance around like young colts, sometimes scantily clad until they get their paper_then they settle down for a while until they have gotten “the dope” on the things they are currently discussing.
