4-H Honor Club

Holds Banquet

At the annual 4-H Honor Clttb banquet held Saturday at the Lee HigWav IHbtel, six outstanding 4-H members were initiated.

Judy Lillard, president of the Honor Club, was Mistress of Ceremonies at the dinner. Sue Many gave the invocation which was fallowed by group singing.

Mr. Walter Saunders* Page, County Agent, was guest Speaker for the evening. Mr.jr Saunders spoke on “Your Obligation To Yourself.”

The initiation committee welcomed Joan Hickerson, Charlotte Moore, Kay Johnston, Dana Snead, Tish Kilby and Tommy Lillard into the club after which certificates of honor were presented the new members.

Officers elected for 1961-62 are President, Francis Updike; Vicepresident, Judy Lillard; Secretary, Betty Kilby; Song leader, Dana Snead; and reporter, Charlotte Moore.

Concluding the evening activities was s candlelighting ceremony, conducted by Louie Miller.
