Skyline Restaurant Opens

Mrs. Erma Jenkins has opened Skyline Restaurant on Route 211 near Washington, Va. 'It was formerly known as Guy’s Restaurant.

Mrs. Jenkins serves breakfasts, lunches, dinners, sandwiches, cold drinks, coffee, etc. She says that she specializes in thick shakes and serves giant hamburgers.

Chester Gap Ladies Auxiliary' will sponsor a ham and fried chicken dinner Saturday, May 6th in the basement of Greeley’s Store. The menu will consist of fried chicken, ham, mashed, potatoes, gravy, string beans, potato salad, hot biscuits pie, cake, coffee and! soft drinks. The public is cordiallyinvited to come and enjoy a good home cooked meal. Proceeds will go to the Chester Gap Fire Department.
