cher, wife of Jt.-MPH James W. Fletcher, Mrs. George Muth, Mr. and Mrs. Perry Duncan, Mrs. Emily Durant and Mr. Oliver Durant. II, Ex.-MFH.
A delicious dinner was served at nine o’clock and at ten o’clock the spacious white and gold ball room of Meadowbrook Hall came brilliantly to life when JDoc Traupel’s melodious music gave the signal for Rappahannock Hunt’s Joint-Masters, James W. Fletcher and John R. DeBergh and their lonely wives, Millie Fletcher and Joyce DeBergh to lead off with the grand march of the Scarlet coats. Upon completion of the colorful grand march, "Doc’s” orchestra swung into the lovely Viennese wait* and the Scarletcoated gentlemen and their ladies were joined by the gentlemen in their blacks and whites and their partners in lovely ball gowns.
