Charles R. Montgomery., Supervisory Parle Ranger of Shenandoah National Park, has been appointed Recreation Planner in the National Pane Service's Region One Office in Richmond, Regional Director Elbert Cox announced to■ day. Montgomery will report on May 1st to his new job in the Division of Recreation Resources.
Cox said Montgomery has been Ranger in charge of the South District of Shenandoah National Park since August 1957. Prior to that he served as park ranger at Mammouth Cave National Park, Kentucky. and on the Blue Ridge Parkway at Roanoke. Va.
A native of Wheeling, W. Va., Montgomery received a B.S. degree in Forestry from West Virginia University. He did graduates, work at Colorado A & M, Wen ' Virginia State Teachers College,
