Named For Position
Of Home Agent
Miss Barbara Jones, a native of Pennsylvania has accepted the position of Home Agent for Rappahannock County, effective January 16, 1962. Miss Jones came highly recommended by the District Agent, Miss Eva Minix, to the local Board of Supervisors, at its December meeting Wednesday.
Miss Jones was educated in Texas and moved to this section when her father, who is manager of the Grant chain of stores, was transferred here. She will make her home in an apartment of Judge and Mrs. R. V. Snead.
The position of Home Agent was recently vacated by Miss Anna Ruth Barnette.
Annual Christmas
Round Dance
The annual Christmas Round Dance will be held at Sperryville School auditorium on Friday, December 22, yvith The Solid Senders of Winchester furnishing the music. Dancing starts at 9 and continues until 1. Admission is $1.50. Proceeds go to the P.T.A.
