Wilbert Lillard
Wilbert Lillard, retired stone mason of Flint IH'fll, died Sunday, December 3, at Winchester Hospital. Son of the late John Henry Lillard and Martha Printz Lillard, and a native of Madison County, he was 77.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hattie Jenkins Lillard; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Hickerson and Mrs. Granville Hudson, both of Flint Hill and Mrs. Ralston Jenkins of Etlan; four sons, Jack Lillard and Thomas Lillard, both of Flint Hill, Charles Lillard and Harry Lillard, both of Alexandria; and 22 grandchildren.
Also surviving are three brothers, John Lillard of Etlan, James Lillard of Flint Hill, and Judd Lillard of Charles Town, W. Va. and one sister, Mrs. Allen Lillard of Sperryville.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 5 from Flint Hill Methodist Church, the pastor the Rev. William A. Jester, officiating. Interment followed in the Methodist Cemetery at Etlan.
Pallbearers were Roland Welch, Jimmy lHarris, Herbert Foster, Robert Nethers, H. C. Pullen, William Weiner, Wade Pullen, and Bill Wade.
