Mrs. L. H. Horton

Mrs. Delilah Elizabeth Horton of Washington, Va., wife of the late Lloyd Hilton Horton, died on Friday, December 1 at her residence following a recent illness. Daughter of the late Hamilton and Margaret Clatterbuek Horton and a native of Rappahannock County, she was 78.

She is survived by two daughters Mrs. Homer Fincham and Mrs. Ira Bailey; one son, Laymon Horton ; and one sister, Mrs. Ambrose Bailey, all of Washington, Va.; three grandchildren and 1 greatgrandchild.

Funeral services were held Sunday, December 3 from the Free Penecostal Church in Flint Hill, the Rev. James Pittman officiating. Interment followed in the Masonic Cemetery at Washington, Va.

Pallbearers were Archie Clatterbuck, Levi Alther, Haywood Coppage, James Bailey, Ashby, and Raymond Ralls.

Geest Funeral Parlors were in charge of -arrangements.
