Graduation Exercises
The Rev. Warren Wilbur, pastor of Washington and Flint Hill Baptist Churches will deliver the baccalaureate sermon to the graduating class of Rappahannock High School at 8 p.m. Sunday evening, June 3rd.. The servic will be held in the school adutiorium. The Rev. Dabney Carr, of Trinity Episcopal Church, Washington will give the invocation and preceding the service the school Glee Club will sing “Create In Me A Clean Heart,, and “O God Of Youth.”
An hour of fellowship will follow the service and the Chi Sigma Youth Group will serve refreshments in the cafeteria.
Graduation Exercises for senior students of the school will be conducted at 8 p.m., June 8th. Diplomas will be presented to the thirtyeight graduates by Mr. O. A. Norton Superintendent of Schools.
Honor graduates are Bonnie Brown, Barney Pauze, Dorothy Cooke and Nancy Latham.
The Glee Club will sing “Halls Of Ivy,” “I Walk With God,” and “Born To Be Free.”
