S.C.A. Of High School

Given Certificate

The S.C.A. of Rappahannock High School has been awarded a certificate of achievement for the 1961-62 school session by the Student Cooperative Association of the Virginia Congress of Parents and Teachers. This award was made on the basis of achieving the following requirements:

1. Having 3 meetings of the student body and 30 meetings of representative groups.

2. Filing an annual report.

3. Setting up and completing definite objectives for S.C.A.

4. Carrying out projects in five different fields'of activity.

5. Payment of annual dues to State office before December 15.

6. Delegates sent to annual District and State Conferences when they are held.

This is the first year in a number of years that the SCA. has functioned in our school. Uuder the excellent leadership of its president, Taylor Updike, this organization has worker hard and accomplished many worthwhile things for the school and community. The achievement award is in recognition of this fact and the school is proud of the award.
