The county-wide May Day activities heldhere recently were very much enjoyed by all present.
Each of the schools were represented by a Queen and her king, i Amissville, Margaret Williams and Jimmy Gray; W. A. Russell, Brenda Jett and Thomas Frye; Scrabble, Rose Rankii and Morris Carter; Washington, Deborah Walls and Edward Bailey, III.; Donna Roy and Jerry Timbers. The Queen crowned for the day bringing in the largest sum of money was Rose Rankin and her king, Morris Carter from Scrabble School, who are pictured above. Rose is in the 6th grade and Morris is a 7th grader.

Rev. W. A. Winfield of Washington, D. C. and his choir will render service at the Shiloh Baptist Church, Woodville, Va. on Sunday night, June 3rd at 8 p.m. (DST) Benefit of the Church Aid Club. Everyone is cordially invited to come hear this wonderful speaker.
