It was a grand right for singing Friday when the Glee Club of Rappahannock High School presented its Soring Concert with that1 title. The 36-member chorus sang religious, patriotic and light selections before a background of roses with stars shining overhead.
Among tihe religious songs were "I Walked Where Jesus Walked Today,” “Dear Loving Father,” and “O God Of Youth.”
Stirring and spine-tingling was the rendition of “Battle Hymn of the Republic.”
After a brief intermission and a change of costume for the girls from their custonmary black skirts and white blouses to eveninf^dresses, the whole group sang “On Moonlight Bay,” “I Believe,” and “Beautiful Dreamer,” with Linda Rowzie as soloist in the latter, and many others.
A double duet composed of Dana Snead, Kaye Johnston, Sally Latham and Tish Kilby, warned the audience of "The Love Bug.”
One of the highlights of the program was the “Hen’s Duet,” sung by the above foursome and Linda Rowzie.
