Mrs. B. R. Cox erttertained at luncheon on December 26th, Comdr. and Mrs. James DeBergh, Jimmie Van, Rebekah and Dickey DeBergh of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, Mr. and Mrs. John R. De Bergh and daughter Diane, Comdr. and Mrs. John R. Harris and Miss Susie Brown of Falls Church. On December 28th dinner guests in the Cox home were Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr. and family, Dr. and Mrs. George H. Davis of Warrenton and Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Dudley of Alexandria. Supper guests the same day were Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Kidwell of Bowling Green Farm.

Miss Segar Jones and Miss Susan Schaefer were joint hostesses at a New Year’s Eve party at Delamore the home of Miss Jones' parents Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones. Among those attending from Washington were Kaye Johnston, Katherine Nalls, Alice Wood, David Lyne, David Palmer, Richard Burke, Lyle Updike, Francis Updike and Sue Many; from Flint Hill, Bobo Bradford, Judy Lillard, John Hickerson, Ginger Russell, Charlie Smith, Roger Welsh, Earl Lillard, Virginia Yates Bradford, Charlotte Moore, Louie Miller, Dorothy Moore and her three house guests from Madison College. Also, from Sperryville, Lill Reeve, Robert Armentrout, James Jenkins, Gary Deal, Roy Atkins, Mike Brown, Bonnie Brown, Bonnie Jenkins, Dot Reeve, Bummy Thornton and Janice Dodson. Guests from Amissville were Teddy Hodge, Judy Latham and Linda Rowzie and from Markham, Barbara Jones, Roger Atkins, Jaque Green and Michael Peters.
