/ Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown entertained at a family dinner on Christmas Day having as their guests Mr. and Mrs. Rodes Brown, jr. and family of Staunton, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown and two sons of Hamilton, the Rev. and Mrs. A. Paul Thompson and daughter,Anr Rodes of Fork Union, Mrs, Louise Brownton, Mr. and Mrs. P. Lee Thornton and son"Bummy”. The Thompson family remained with Mrs. Thompson ’s parents ■ for a visit of several days. Mr. and Mrs. David Chapman had as their guests for the holidays their son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs.David Chapman of Richmond.

Mr. and Mrs. E. N. Montague spent the holidays at their home at Hazel Notch and had as their guest Mrs. Montague’s sister, Mrs. J. Osborne of Cincinnati, Ohio. Mrs. Helen BrownBruceof Gainesville was a holiday guest of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Gore at Barlow. Mr. and Mrs. C. Ennis Brown were in Richmond for a visit during the holiday, guests of their nephew and niece Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Brown. Elder and Mrs. Hollin Redmond of Front Royal were Saturday callers of Elder and Mrs. J. Harvey Daily enroute to Richmond where Elder Redmond filled his regular appointment. ,
